Fuji Xerox Supplies (FXS) a division of Fuji Xerox Australia will be at PrintEx for the first time, showcasing its vast offering of offline finishing and wide format equipment, and presenting its newly formed management team
This is a bold and positive move for FXS, which is already an industry leader in the office and production arena. Craig Flavell executive general manager of FXS says, “The move in to high-end offline finishing and wide format equipment was always a planned and strategic move for us, as we had demand for it in the market from our customers who were looking to us as a leader in this complete finished solution.
“When we opened our showroom in Melbourne late last year, we were delighted with the response from our customers, who told us it showed that we had been listening to them, and had understood what they needed from us to support them in their business. As a result of this we brought forward the opening of our next major showroom in Sydney to the beginning of this month instead of after PrintEx.
“Customers now have a true experience when they deal with Fuji Xerox and are taken on a journey when they come to us. From the demonstration of our colour presses they can then see the output of their job to a complete document finishing solution from our offline equipment.
“We have impeccable capabilities and expertise, and this is pivotal in strengthening our position in the market place and taking it to the next level. The array of products and services that Fuji Xerox offers puts us in a great position with our trusted brand and reputation.”
Louise Cutajar, category manager of finishing equipment has been with the division just under 12 month’s and has been instrumental in ensuring that the showrooms in both Melbourne and Sydney showcase the company’s capabilities. She has also been responsible for hiring of sales specialists and technicians, and developing with strong supplier relationships.
Cutajar explains” At PrintEx, as in our showrooms, we will be showcasing a vast product range of equipment that will demonstrate finished documents to our customers. These machines include Plockmatic Booklet Makers, Kisun UV Coaters, Bacciatini Creasers, Technifold CreaseStream, Baum Autofolds, Zip Card Cutters, Neolt Trimmers and Mutoh wide format printers.”
She continues, “With the recent addition of Tatjana Ferguson as category manager – wide format to the team, this gives us another string to our bow. Ferguson is responsible for all AEC and wide format consumable products, and brings two decades of experience in the wide format and sign markets to her new position.
“Her career spans all facets of the wide format market including sales and marketing, product procurement and management, and training and support of both staff and customers. Ferguson’s knowledge and experience give her a strong foundation to provide both technical assistance and customer service.”
Finally, new to the team is the appointment of industry veteran Tony Bertrand as national sales and operations manager. Explaining why he hired Bertrand, Craig Flavell said: “I needed someone with impeccable capabilities to compliment me and the rest of the senior management team in the direction that I want to take the division. He is pivotal to strengthening our position in the marketplace and delivering what our customers want, and I’m glad he’s on board to assist me in that journey.”
Bertrand is excited about tackling the challenges of his new role. “The vast array of products and services that Fuji Xerox offers puts us in a leading position in the marketplace. Packaged solutions are really what we’re about. We take a consultative approach and help our clients improve processes, productivity and sustainability through better leveraging our technology.”
