Supply One is a long-time reseller for leading brands, including Afga, Epson and Roland DG
upply One has been in the business of providing the signage industry with tools and equipment for more 28 years and it was amongst the first to see the huge impact that wide format printers would have on the industry. It decided early to get on board, and started selling the Roland DG range of printers and cutters with great success mainly due to the after sales service they offered with each sale.
With the foray into the wide format world the Supply One team quickly became experts on digitally printable self adhesive vinyls, banner, film and paper, with Bob McIntyre absorbing every piece of information about features and benefits of adhesives, face stocks and dimensional stability of every product they stock as well as the products its competitors stocked. McIntyre can look at any printable digital media and suggest an alternative product from the Supply One range that the company says will nine times out of ten outperform in benefits and price over rival offerings.
Supply One has more recently decided to branch out with the addition of the Epson GS6000 eight colour production printer and the Agfa Anapurna Mw UV Printer. These two additions have added real punch to the Supply One range with the Epson offering eight-colour printing including orange and green to really boost the range of the colour gamut.
The Agfa offers UV printing on rigid materials or roll to roll medias with the added optional benefit of printing white ink
Another of the recent additions to Supply One’s arsenal is the return of Peter Stockwell to the position of Machinery & Equipment Sales. Stockwell brings with him more than 30 years of experience in the printing industry.
He says, “My philosophy has always been that I ask many questions in order to establish my clients needs and to gain a better understanding of current and future requirements.
Sometimes the lowest price package is often not the best solution, and rather than playing resellers off against each other in order to gain best price, I feel it is advantageous to deal with a reputable company and with a sales person who has the experience and industry knowledge to help clients make the correct decision and explain options such as finance alternatives which may allow them to move into a package which is not based solely on price but one that provides additional capacity and the flexibility to meet current and future needs.”
