The Packaging Council of Australian (PCA) is now taking entries for the Australian Packaging Awards, which organisers say presents an opportunity for companies to have their brands, products and people recognised and promoted.
The PCA says that all winners will not only receive national acclaim and recognition but will be entitled to use the 2009 APA logo in their marketing to promote their success at the Awards. The winners will also be featured on the APA results website and in the results brochure.Michael Tyrrell, president of the PCA says while times are tough, the Awards present an opportunity to focus on achievements and to celebrate the creative excellence within the industry.
He says, “We, the Australian packaging industry, are all linked by our common passion. Whether you are a supplier, manufacturer, designer, brand owner or retailer, this is your chance to showcase, your passion, drive and vision on the national stage.”
Tyrrell continues, “The national packaging and design Awards are your opportunity to change any unloved perception and win accolades for your company. Let this be the occasion, when we drive our own success, highlight our triumphs and articulate our vision for intelligent and sustainable packaging for the future.”
In order to be eligible for entry, packaging submitted must have a significant Australian contribution in design and /or manufacturing and/or intellectual property.
