Pro-Pac expands in WA

mergers & acquisitions  Packaging 

Pro-Pac Packaging has purchased the business and assets of Dysher, trading as Goodman Packaging, a Sydney and Perth based distributor of industrial packaging products, with a strong focus on strapping machinery and consumables.

Goodman has a current annualised turnover of around $6.5m and Pro-Pac claims the acquisition is complimentary to it existing strapping and machinery consumables business. The purchase will be funded from Pro-Pac’s existing cash resources and debt facilities; the acquisition is expected to be immediately earnings accretive.

Commenting on the acquisition, Brandon Penn, CEO of Pro-Pac says, “The purchase of the Goodman Packaging business provides Pro-Pac with an expanded customer base and enhanced capabilities in the strapping product category.

He continues, “It Also provides the Pro-Pac group with an established Perth based operation facilitating the expansion of Pro-Pac’s distribution businesses in Western Australia.”
