New premises and new name for laminator

Move: Allkotes' new Silverwater facility
Move: Allkotes' new Silverwater facility

Allkotes Sydney West has opened a new purpose built factory moving the previously named Higloss Laminating business based in Silverwater to a larger premises.

Graham Wickett, CEO of Allkotes, says the company has invested heavily in the refit of the new premises to make it one of the most attractive and cleanest laminating and coating plants in print finishing.

Wickett says, “It’s the closest set up I have ever seen to a printing plant and that includes all the laminating factories we have visited around the world.”

He says, “As for the name change, it brings the Higloss operation into line with the five other factories of Allkotes in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Canberra and now forcefully projects the machine power and ability of Allkotes to properly service the market as a whole, from big to small, on the eastern seaboard.”

“This is a clear indication of our commitment to the printing industry with more than enough machine capacity, under cover loading facilities and space to handle whatever the market throws at us.”

According to Wickett, the Allkotes Sydney Central factory at Turrella will continue to operate hand in hand with the Silverwater plant allowing the work load to be shared between both sites.

He adds, “In the meantime it’s now full on at Allkotes Sydney West with a brilliant factory to back up our company’s reputation for service, creativity and innovation.
