In addition to highlighting its innovative range of shrink sleeved products, The Le Mac Australia Group also showcased a linerless self adhesive range as well as machines for trays, tubs, produce, whole chickens, pizzas, salami and bottles. The company also demonstrated a new filling and sealing system for flexible standing pouches.

Discussing the linerless self adhesive range on the busy Le Mac stand Tony Dean, project Engineer for Le Mac told APP that traditional shrink sleeves have a silicon backing paper, which can’t be recycled.

He says, “This technology is well developed overseas but we are just starting to get the ball rolling here, it’s really starting to take off with a lot of interest now being generated in Australia.”
