Indian printer Parksons Packaging is set to install two high capacity six-colour Roland 700 HiPrint offset presses at its facility in Mumbai. The latest investment follows a 700 HiPrint with coating module, which was installed at the company’s new Rudrapur facility earlier this year.
The printing systems are equipped with TelePresence, which permits fast remote diagnosis when service is needed. The TelePresence Maintenance Manager module provides individualized, condition-oriented press maintenance, according to manroland.
Parksons Packaging is one of India’s largest packaging and printing companies, turning out high quality folding cartons for some of the best known brands and leaders in the food and beverage, pharmaceutical, electronics, retail, apparel and consumer goods industries.
Neeraj Dargan, general manager sheetfed at manroland India says, “Our alliance with Parksons Packaging validates the perception of manroland India as one of the premier printing solutions providers in India, catering to market leaders in the printing and packaging industry.
“We’re confident that our presses will enable Parksons Packaging to achieve significantly enhanced print quality standards in further expanding their national and international footprints.”
Parksons Packaging is also expected to install another ROLAND 700 HiPrint with full UV equipment in the second half of 2010.
