EskoArtwork says it will demonstrate its expanded offering of applications for signs and displays at this month’s Fespa World Expo Asia Pacific 2008. The company’s demonstrations will include SignUp, its nesting workflow application for digital sign production.

Built on EskoArtwork’s expertise in layout technology for packaging printing, SignUp is an interactive layout application for digital sign and display shops, and large format digital press owners, who are looking to streamline production and minimize material waste, according to the company.

The company will also showcase its Kongsberg i−XL20 cutting and finishing table, which the company says complements digital printing of rigid signs and displays by delivering a finishing solution for the widest range of materials, providing automation, high productivity and outstanding precision.

Geert De Proost, director digital converting software product group at EskoArtwork says, “Sign and display printers are of growing importance to EskoArtwork, and we look forward to demonstrating our expertise during Fespa World Expo Asia Pacific 2008.”

He continues, “EskoArtwork Kongsberg have firmly cemented their market leading position as a supplier of cutting and finishing tables in the sign and display business. They are delivered with a versatile set of tools for cutting and creasing heavy−duty materials that are used in a wide variety of new emerging applications for signs and displays.

De Proost adds, “The Kongsberg tables can work with a very diverse range of substrates, from textiles to heavy−duty Re−Board materials. It is an outstanding investment for the digital printer who is searching for a profitable finishing solution for short run production.”

Also on display will be ArtiosCAD, the company’s structural design software for packaging design and is specifically designed for packaging professionals for product development, virtual prototyping and manufacturing, according to EskoArtwork.
