Bobst Group has announced it will present its range of equipment and services destined for the plastic film converting industry, at the ArabPlast 2009 exhibition in Dubai, UAE, In January next year.

The company says it’s presentations at the event will include Atlas & Titan slitter rewinders, Rotomec gravure printing and coating & laminating solutions, Fischer & Krecke and Schiavi flexo printing technology and General vacuum metalising solutions.

According to Bobst, the Rotomec coating & laminating product range comprises the CL 850 duplex and the CL 1000 duplex or triplex multi-technology laminators with sensitive web handling control to produce superior quality structures using the widest combination of flexible materials, including very thin aluminum foil.

Fischer & Krecke will present its 8 and 10-colour flexo presses FP 14S and FP 16S with SmartGPS, graphic positioning system, an innovation which caused a sensation at drupa 2008, says Bobst.

Schiavi will present its new 8-colour CI solution EF 4030, together with the well-established EF 4040 8-colour CI flexo press, while Atlas & Titan will present their latest developments in slitting & rewinding technology for plain & metalised plastic film, flexible packaging materials, laminates, labelstock, paper & board.

Meanwhile, General will present its K5000 vacuum metaliser, which Bobst says is arguably the world’s finest metaliser for today’s plastic film industry.
