Pride In Print organisers promise a cracker of an evening for the print industry this Friday night when the Pride In Print awards takes place at the Wellington Event Centre.

Sponsored by Heidelberg, Spicers Paper, Huber Group (Hostmann- Steinberg) and Fuji Xerox, the awards evening entertainment will present a Chicago gangster theme.

Sue Archibald, award manager Pride In Print, says, “We’ll be poking a little fun at the events and happenings within the industry and giving people a chance to have a smile after suffering from the grim recession that has affected the country. In times of adversity, it is essential to find some things to give you a lift, and the quality of our entries and particularly our winners will bring a boost in spirits to the industry.

“Pride In Print success will also pave the way for marketing success on the national and international scene, as has been proved by past winners who have gone on to use their medals as a testimonial to their quality standards.”

The country’s most prestigious print event has attracted a big turnout for the presentation ceremony at the Wellington Convention Centre followed by a celebration dinner at the Wellington Town Hall.

Archibald concludes, “A few tickets still remain and can be obtained from the Pride In Print office by phoning 04 237 0482.”
