Heidelberg is set to host its tenth Print Media Academy (PMA) training seminar aimed at providing participants with concrete strategy and business plans for their businesses as well as the opportunity to share experiences and swap strategies.

The five-day training programme – Summer University – aimed at international managers from the print media industry, will take place from July 13 to 17 in Heidelberg, Germany.

Bernd Schopp, head of the PMA says the PMA Summer University gives managers the chance to take part in a compact training course that will enable them to prepare their companies to face future challenges.

He says, “In today’s highly competitive and changing markets, it is getting more and more important to keep print shop owners up-to-date with the latest developments and business strategies.”

Heidelberg outlines that this year’s Summer University will focus on transferring practical know-how. A team of renowned experts will show the participants how to position their companies successfully in an increasingly global market and make them aware of how they can take advantage of available opportunities.

The lectures and seminars cover the entire business management spectrum - from process management, strategy development and HR management to future trends and development, according to the company.

Heidelberg concludes that participants will have the chance to work with the experts to analyse the feasibility and sustainability of various models and strategies based on a number of case studies, the seminar will be held in English.
