Although Muller Martini hasn’t placed any machines on the floor at PacPrint, the company stresses that it believes in the show and it is still taking it very seriously.

Livio Barbagallo, managing director Muller Martini Australia New Zealand, believes PacPrint is proving invaluable in allowing Muller Martini to assist its clients. He says, “For us, this is an important point in time. Here, we can get the vibe of the industry in a very short space of time. It gives us a snapshot of where our customers are.”

Barbagallo says that although the company had no new machines, it had already enjoyed a successful launch of its Primera range in Sydney in November, and looked forward to talking with customers. He says, “We’re talking to our clients about how they can optimise what they have, and how they can improve efficiencies. Sometimes we’re talking about upgrades and add-ons like automatic feeding and palletising, but what we’re really doing is helping them to realise the potential in their machines and increase their bottom line.”

Armed with a coffee machine and refreshments, Barbagallo and his staff expect to see most of their clients during PacPrint week. He concludes, “We’ve contacted all our customers over the last few weeks and most of them will visit us, especially their decision makers. Here they can relax, have a coffee something to eat, and a chat.”
