Mimaki Engineering achieves ISO14001 certification

Japanese press manufacturer Mimaki Engineering announced that it has received ISO14001 certification for its headquarters and four of its plants based in Bokuya, Kazawa, Tokyo and Osaka. 

Akira Ikeda, president of Mimaki Engineering says, "With the ISO 14001 Certificate Mimaki aims to be a company devoted to the environment and sustainability.”

ISO 14001, a globally recognized standard for an environmental management system, specifies requirements for establishing an environmental policy as well as determining environmental impacts of products, activities, services.

Ikeda adds, “We are continuously improving our environmental assurance and performance in all business activities to have the least impact on our environment and burden for future generations."
