Flint Group
Jim Mahony has been named President Asia-Pacific effective March 1, and will become a member of Flint Group’s executive management team reporting to Charles Knott, CEO Flint Group.

Jim Mahony has over 40 years of industry experience, and held leadership roles with Flint Ink for seven years from 1997 to 2004. He joined Flint Ink via the acquisition of Manders PLC where, as Group COO, he spent significant time developing the company's presence in the Australian and New Zealand markets.

He went on to become president of Flint Ink Europe and chairman of Incowax India. Following the merger of Flint Ink Europe with Gebr Schmidt in 2002, he became the president and CEO of Flint-Schmidt. His most recent position was as advisor to the Micro Group as president and CEO of the North American business. There, he assisted with the integration of business following Micro's acquisition by Huber Group.

Commenting on the appointment, Charles Knott said: "Jim is a hugely experienced individual, who combines an in-depth understanding of the Asian-Pacific markets with outstanding leadership skills. As we look to strengthen our capabilities in this important region of the world, Jim's strategic insight, his personal experience and his professional expertise make him ideally suited to this role."

Jim Mahony added: "I am extremely pleased to be joining Flint Group - a very fine company. I am excited by the challenge the new position offers and am looking forward to working with friends and colleagues old and new, and to assist the group in meeting its goals and objectives for the future."
