Fuji Xerox New Zealand has launched a colour management workflow solution which, it says, enables colour matching across multiple print output devices, and the production of print to international standards such as SWOP, GRACoL and FOGRA.
Henryk Kraszewski, production colour marketing manager, Fuji Xerox Australia, says, “It provides colour management between offset presses, digital presses, inkjet proofing devices and other colour output devices. The advanced colour management capabilities of the Oris press matcher software is at the heart of the solution and delivers highly accurate and repeatable results.”Described by Fuji Xerox as a combined software and hardware solution, each solution includes Oris press matcher software, Oris certified proof software, an X–Rite i1 spectrophotometer, X–Rite i1iO automated scanning table, Dymo label printer, Dell PC, installation, training, and a one–year service contract for the software and hardware.
Kraszewski says that the standard package includes a user licence for one digital print output device (up to a Xerox DocuColor 260), while the professional package includes a user licence for an unlimited number of digital and offset print output devices as well as additional training and a copy of Adobe Acrobat standard.
He adds, “Fuji Xerox CMWS, with Oris press matcher and Oris certified proof, takes the guesswork out of colour management and proofing. This solution will boost print productivity and enable users to achieve great results.”
