Fuji Xerox  appointments  marketing  printing - digital

Fuji Xerox has appointed Andrew Healy in the newly created role of variable data printing (VDP) business consultant.

The company says Healy’s role is specially designed to propagate the use of VDP in direct marketing campaigns, both at a fulfillment level within print shops and at the demand-generation level via marketing and advertising agencies.

The primary function of Healy’s role will be to work in a hands-on capacity with Fuji Xerox’s key VDP certified partners to assist them in developing the businesses model and the capabilities required to generate growth through VDP. His secondary function will be to drive awareness of VDP capabilities with marketers and advertising agency strategists to evangelize the capabilities of VDP. He says, “While it’s essential to have partners able to deliver high-quality variable data campaigns, the real work needs to be done at the creative level, so that VDP can be a consideration in campaign development from the outset.”

Healy comes to Fuji Xerox from a background of business development, strategic business management, account management and experience in revenue stream identification, and development and sales-related functions. He says that Fuji Xerox’s customers and VDP Certified partners are ready to utilise the new consulting capabilities to build their customer base and VDP revenue.

Brenden Rolston, managing director of ActionMail, a VDP certified partner and direct marketing specialist, says, “There’s no doubt for us in the power of variable data. What we needed was a way to seed the benefits of VDP farther up the chain at the creative level so that our customers can proactively come to us with campaigns. We look forward to working with Andrew to build our customer base and the argument for variable data.”
