In an exclusive Arrangement for Australia and New Zealand, CGS Publishing Technologies International, a manufacturer of inkjet and soft proofing colour management solutions, has appointed Fuji Xerox Australia (FXA) as an exclusive distributor for its ORIS Press Matcher throughout Australia and New Zealand.

The announcement took place at DRUPA 2008 in Düsseldorf.

Trevor Haworth, CEO of CGS Publishing Technologies International said, “With Fuji Xerox Australia we have found the ideal partner for our products in the expanding digital printing press market. ORIS Press Matcher provides Fuji Xerox with a colour managed solution for the most demanding applications in the digital press space.”

The company says that its ORIS Press Matcher uses CGS four-dimensional colour management software to produce high-resolution files for digital presses, conventional presses, wide-format printers, CTP systems, or other devices by matching their colour spaces to each other. The result is standardized colour across multiple devices bringing high-quality, consistent colour to all printing projects.

Henryk Kraszewski, Production Marketing Manager, Fuji Xerox Australia said, “We are very happy that CGS chose us as an exclusive distributor for ORIS Press Matcher. ORIS Press Matcher is the perfect solution to enable our customers to manage colour across a number of colour output devices utilizing different print technologies.”
