Business forum brings top minds together

Fuji Xerox  Heidelberg  market trends  Ipex
A high powered business forum featuring the heads of Xerox and Heidelberg, together with two of the biggest names in British financial and political journalism, has just been announced for Ipex. The event, moderated by best-selling author and British broadcaster Jeremy Paxman, will take place in the Forum building at the National Exhibition Center in Birmingham, U.K., on April 4, beginning at noon. Panelists will include Anne Mulcahy, chairman and CEO, Xerox Corporation; Bernhard Schreier, chairman and CEO, Heidelberger Druckmaschinen; Edward Carr, business affairs editor, The Economist; and Barry Hibbert, CEO of the Polestar Group, one of Europe’s leading printing companies.

Paxman will lead the group in a provocative discussion of the changing role of technology and work processes in an industry that is seen as a bellwether for the global economy. Panelists will highlight market trends, challenges and real-world opportunities designed to help print providers make better business decisions. Attendees also will be invited to share their views and ask questions.

"The health of graphic communications companies today is dependent on many factors in addition to ink on paper, such as declining marketing budgets and the growth of integrated communications vehicles," said noted industry analyst Andrew Tribute, president of Attributes Associates. "It is critical that IPEX attendees take the larger economic and business environment into account and apply the lessons they will learn from this must-see event."

Titled "In the balance - your choices, your success," the event is free and open to all IPEX 2006 attendees. For more information and to register, visit www.industryforumatipex.com. Seating is limited.
