PrintNZ Training has named the branch winners of this year’s apprentice awards, chosen from over 100 apprentices and trainees who completed their training in 2008.

PrintNZ says that picking the winners was difficult owing to the high calibre of the finalists. The winners will travel to Wellington to receive their awards and prize at the PrintNZ Training Apprentice Awards Breakfast on Friday 8 May 2009.

The branch award winners (excluding the National Certificate Trainee) are now in contention for the top print industry training award: Apprentice of the Year. The winner of this major award will be announced live on stage at the Pride In Print Awards on Friday 8 May 2009.

PrintNZ expressed its gratitude to the sponsors of the Apprentice of the Year Award: Agfa NZ, CPI Graphics and Kodak, saying the sponsor assistance not only helps the awards but also supports the future leaders of the printing and packaging industries.

Congratulations from Denmark to Sukhvinder Singh of PMP.

Not only one of the best apprentice nominated but also the prettiest; I had the pleasure of working together with her at PMP in 2006 and am not at all supprised she is on of the people to be nominated.
