Make time work harder for you
printing - digital  Xante

Xante’s strategy of developing cost effective innovative digital printing solutions continued at drupa with the launch of a 3D printer on sale for Euro25000 and an upgrade in stock sizes for its Illumina.

The Illumina can now handle stock up to 502gsm, up form the previous 427, which was already in excess of most other digital printing systems available. Xante says the new Illumina 502 is also now able to print on magnetic stock, providing printers with new applications in fridge magnets and promotional material. The Illumina 502 can handle stock sizes up to 327x1200mm.

Xante also launched a 3D printer for lenticular work. The Illumina 3D is aimed at enabling jobbing printers to enter the lenticular market, which at the moment is dominated by offset and inkjet, which have cost and productivity issues.
