Day International, which includes the flagship brands of dayGraphica and davidM Printing Blankets, Varn Pressroom Chemicals and Rotec Flexographic Products, will exhibit at drupa on stand 88, hall 3. The Day International has earned a reputation within the industry for providing premier pressroom consumables through its broad range of image transfer products and technical services. This unrivalled technical service and superior product portfolio provides a total solution enabling today’s printers to achieve optimum cost efficiency and print quality by integrating consumable products
that are both compatible and complimentary.

The event will see the introduction of many new and innovative products and visitors to the stand at drupa will see many new products exhibited for the first time including the patented DuraZone technology, which incorporates a new compressible layer within the printing blanket. The new DuraZone technology increases the durability of offset printing blankets without sacrificing print quality.

Further additions to the blanket range include the dayGraphica 3612 blanket, which the company says is one of the most durable, flexible and versatile blankets from Day International. The dayGraphica 3612 has been specifically designed to handle the entire range of printing applications from heatset web through commercial sheetfed and sheetfed packaging.

Other new products exhibited for the first time include new developments in prepress chemistry. With over 50 years experience Varn has formulated a quality range of prepress products which include chemistry for both conventional and CTP plate processing using all the leading brands of thermal and photopolymer plates.

This chemical expertise has enabled Varn to formulate a range of chemistry that offers distinct advantages over existing prepress chemistry, including improved bath life with cleaner tanks and increased latitude enabling the throughput of different plate batches without the need to chase coating changes resulting in fewer stops and increased throughput.
