The first absolute white coated paper: Raleigh

Raleigh Paper  paper

Raleigh Paper has released a new soft matt coated paper, which the company says is the first absolutely white paper without any colour cast.

The company says with the design of Heaven 42, a new colour space was unlocked, technical motifs in particular, including grey tones, silver tones, strong bright/dark contrasts, are lent great brilliance and neutrality.

Rod Williamson, marketing manager for Raliegh Paper says heaven 42 excels with its excellent print qualities, a reader-friendly contrast, particularly for fine reverse types, and a unique surface feel. With a degree of whiteness at 155 CIE, heaven 42 is perfectly compatible with the whiteness of uncoated papers.

He says, “Fast ink absorption, a high level of rub resistance, excellent runability and stacking properties, a very reliable dimensional stability as well as its folding characteristics guarantee a seamless production process.”

According to Williams Heaven 42 also displays excellent environmental credentials, manufactured using Elemental Chlorine pulp sourced from certified well managed forests, and is Forest Stewardship Council Chain of Custody certified.

He continues it’s suitable for a broad range of printed applications including brochures, fashion catalogues, annual reports and direct mail pieces.
