Innovative Melbourne company STiKKi Products, which recently installed a new Xeikon digital colour press is launching a new product, STiKKi Linerless Labels in a Reel. Linerless adhesive paper is wound on itself with no need for a release liner (or backing sheet.). The Linerless Labels are repositionable and removable and thermal transfer printable. They allow users to vary label dimensions as labels are automatically cut to size by the printer. There is no need to change adhesive reels when printing multiple label sizes, and they avoid the restrictions of pre-diecut reels.
Label widths vary in size up to up to 100mm, and there is minimise waste as there is no backing sheet to rewind. Printed labels can be stacked on each other if needed and readily separated at point of application. Wider widths are under development.
STiKKI says the thermal transfer printed STiKKi Linerless Labels are perfect for a range of industries including manufacturing, food service, postal, retail, books and white goods.
