Specialty Press delivers Service Plus

business planning
The Specialty Print Group, located in Albury, New South Wales, has diversified its operations with the establishment of Service Plus, a high-volume forms management business, which is believed to be a first for the Albury-Wodonga region. The development of the new business has resulted in the useable factory floor space at the Specialty Press site almost doubling, requiring the company to acquire an additional 600sqm of land adjoining the original site. Brendan Munk, Specialty Press managing director, says that decision was made to open this new arm of the business to keep up with the continued commercial growth in the region.

"With organisations prepared to invest in Albury-Wodonga, I believe that as existing suppliers, we are obligated to provide the support these businesses need to be competitive on the national stage," says Munk.

Munk says that the mandate of Service Plus business is to manage all aspects of an organisation’s printed material. The company’s software infrastructure and staff have been trained to handle multiple simultaneous transactions from around the country, as well as provide the ability to deal with internet-based ordering and report generation from multiple remote locations.

The plan, according to Munk, is to combine the existing resources and experience at Specialty Press with the systems of Service Plus to deliver what he hopes to be an exceptional level of print management, with an emphasis on service.
