Sales guru back in Australia

Print sales guru Dave Fellman is back in Australia at the end of the month to run a series of seminars on selling print in the modern era.

The seminars are sponsored by Gasaa, and entitled 21st Century Printing Sales Skills and Attitudes will be held in Melbourne (July 30), Brisbane (July 31), and Sydney (Aug 1). Trade printer CMYKhub is sponsoring the lunches and refreshments.

Fellman says, “The importance of the print sales person is growing, especially as print is under increasing threat from other communication channels. A print sales person who can develop a consultative and relational approach will enable the print business to both win new customers and defend existing customers.”

Topics in the seminars, which will run from 10am-4pm in each venue include: How To Think Like A Winning Salesperson, Prospecting In The 21st Century, Time Management and Organisation, Preparing and Presenting Your Proposal

Uncommon Solutions For Common Obstacles and Objections, Negotiation Skills & Strategy, and How To Get All The Value From Every Customer.

Fellman runs similar seminars continuously in the US and Canada, and has been to Australia on several previous occasions.

The seminars are aimed at print sales staff from all sectors within the industry; litho, digital, display and signage. Cost is $195, registration is available at www.davefellman.com or from Gasaa.
