Paper gets its own zone at Ipex 2006
Ipex 2006 will have a dedicated Paper Zone for the first time. Located in Hall 20, the 1500sqm Paper Zone will house paper suppliers and manufacturers, providing a focal point for visitors interested in finding out about the latest developments in paper supply and production. Louisa Theobald, sales director of Ipex 2006, says: "We are getting a fantastic response from paper companies wanting to exhibit at Ipex 2006. Having a dedicated Paper Zone will provide everything that is important for visitors to this area; all the latest technologies, developments and the impact they have on sourcing paper."
Peter Bothwick, sales director at Stora Enso, says: "This is a really positive move for us and something that we requested following Ipex 2002 when visitors were finding us more by surprise than design. Ipex is one of the most important exhibitions in the print calendar in terms of calibre of visitor, and as a regular exhibitor, it’s good to know that the organisers are listening to our needs."
Apart from Stora Enso, other recent paper company signings for Ipex 2006 include paper merchant GF Smith & Son and manufacturer Soporcel.
