Pantone to unveil new colour standardisation products at drupa

product launch  drupa  Pantone
A global authority on colour and provider of professional colour standards, Pantone will exhibit in hall 9, stand E04, at drupa and will announce new products developed to address the issues of achieving colour consistency across different mediums. Pantone has, for the past 40 years, provided colour products and solutions for the graphic design, printing, publishing, textile and plastics industries. Pantone specified colours are used everywhere, from IBM’s blue to Barbie’s pink hue.

Aeveral product and technology news announcements are expected from Pantone at drupa, including a change to its universal colour standard and the standardisation of colour on digital presses.

There is mounting concern about achieving consistency with the way colour appears across different mediums. For example, colours often look different between how they appear on a computer monitor versus how they are printed. Pantone is investing considerable R&D in addressing this issue and offering affordable solutions to solve such problems, which will be reflected in the announcements to be made at drupa.
