The PacPrint Workshops, now in their third day, are proving popular with the nation’s printers, as most presenters report full rooms for their workshops. In keeping with the printing industry’s focus on education, more than 90 workshop sessions are being offered to PacPrint ‘05 visitors over the five days of the show, all are which are free. Both suppliers and industry associations are participating in the programme.

Ron Patterson chairman of the PacPrint ’05 Board says, “The education programme offers an extremely high calibre of workshops which is truly adding value to the PacPrint experience.

According to the organiser the PacPrint Educational Workshop Program is designed to bring customers up to speed on the latest thinking from around the world; thinking that is designed to drive volume and return profits.

Patterson says, “There are presentations focusing on the practical aspects of adopting technology as well as sessions that are addressing ways in which users can apply technology to not only increase productivity, but also profitability.

“The extensive workshop programme PacPrint offers to visitors at no cost will go a long way to informing decision-makers about equipment, marketing and new directions,” concludes Patterson.
