Nuvera sales hit the big 4-0

Fuji Xerox  copiers  business planning  printing - sheetfed
Fuji Xerox Australia (FXA) has announced healthy initial sales results for its new Nuvera Copier Printer mid-production monochrome platform, offloading over 40 units by the end of August 2004, Fuji Xerox Australia has sold more than 40 Nuvera systems – all to a broad array of customers. Simon Lane, FXA Printing Production Systems marketing manager, says the market acceptance has been outstanding.

"We had of course hoped the market would respond positively to the launch of Nuvera, but we have been delighted by the range of customers who have installed this technology," says Lane.

"Quick-printers, commercial printers, legal firms, education and offset printers are among the customers who have chosen Nuvera for its outstanding image quality and productivity."

He says the number of new customers buying Nuvera has been especially pleasing, particularly offset printers with no previous experience in digital.

"There are an increasing number of printers who consider digital as a bona fide alternative to offset, and we are focused on growing that market," says Lane.

"It’s no secret that one of our competitors has launched a product into the market at the same time as Nuvera, and have invested a lot of effort in matching themselves against Xerox.

"We are flattered to know that our competitors see us as the market benchmark, but we’re aiming a little higher with Nuvera. We want to grow the total eligible market for digital print by educating end users about the print quality now possible on Nuvera."
