NEW Optimus MIS
TharsternSQL  IT
Rearing to go at the start of the New Year, Mosaic MIS, the TharsternSQL agents for Australia and New Zealand report a very successful launch in the Australian market last year.
Mosaic MIS supremo, Tresta Keegan, says that the company’s first four months of operations in Australia were widely and positively received. The enquiry level has been such that the company is already boosting its market presence in Melbourne.

Paul Cook (product technical) will shortly be joined and supported by a sales manager and shortly thereafter by an additional technical consultant.

Keegan is already on the lookout for the right people to help develop the business in Australia and expects, in the near future, that they will also contribute to the growth of Mosaic further afield in Australia, with the next office likely to be in Sydney.

"Mosaic has only had a local presence in Australia since last September, but the reception, feedback, support and enthusiasm we’ve been shown has far exceeded any of our expectations," says Keegan.

"We are being repeatedly told that the industry has waited for quite some time for an MIS of the maturity and scope of TharsternSQL.

"Especially motivating has been the opportunity to work with prospective users in developing their e-commerce requirements. TharsternSQL e4print users in New Zealand have just started to embrace this sales channel with staggering results, but for Australians, the customer bases of various franchises are exponentially larger, between five and 10 times the size of the NZ market.

"This ability to service either a real estate company, or a corporate such as a bank has been successful as they all require an easy and reliable way to access print. E4print also gives them a lot of tools and transaction transparency; it is formatted to protect the brand integrity of the organisation when printed material is ordered so often and from a range of sources, frequently with individual franchisees paying for their own requirements.

"Selling the concept in is easy, but providing resources so we can provide advice to users of how to secure this type of business is also what we will be developing over the coming months," Keegan concludes.
