HVG scores Renolit distribution contract

Halifax Vogel Group (HVG) has signed an agreement with international plastic film manufacturer Renolit, which will enable the company’s flagship product – SeaFlex press polished PVC sheet – to be reintroduced to the Australian market.

SeaFlex, which is designed for marine window and flexible glass applications, is one of a range of new products that will be distributed by HVG as the exclusive channel partner for Renolit in Australia.

According to HVG, SeaFlex is designed to meet the rigorous demands of long-term outdoor use, and has a clear glass finish that neither shrinks, nor cracks, nor yellows in sunlight. It can also be welded, sewn or bonded to itself or other materials with ease.

Daniel Gollan, business manager, HVG Decorative Fabrics and Films says, “With Renolit’s technology and our national network of sales specialists and warehouse locations, we aim to once again establish SeaFlex as the industry benchmark for boat canopies and other flexible glass applications in Australia.”

Another coup to come out of the Renolit partnership will be introduction of the Rainbow range of films for stationery and promotional products.

New to the Australian stationery market, the environmentally friendly range offers a selection of opaque colours and the choice between different flexibilities, gauges and embossing, according to HVG.
