Currie Group  HP  printing - digital  printing - large format

HP and Currie Group will undertake a digital print tour of Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria next month to showcase the HP Indigo 3500 digital press and the HP Designjet Z series of large format printers.

The Currie Group truck has been re-fitted and re-branded to promote its expanded HP portfolio, this is the first time the HP Designjet large format printers have been included in a digital print roadshow. The tour commences on July 7 in Cairns and wraps up in Bendigo on September 22.

Phillip Rennell of the Currie Group says, “This tour is the ideal way for print service providers (PSP) to gain firsthand experience of the expanded digital print offers from HP. Visitors will be invited to come on board the truck and view operational presses as well as discuss technical aspects with our digital print experts.”

Rennell continues, “Visitors will also be able to see the new HP Designjet Z6100 printer, the largest printer in the HP Designjet range. It will be the first opportunity for many PSPs, especially those in regional centres, to see this new large format printer in action.”

A statement from HP says that all equipment will be operational. The HP Indigo 3500 will demonstrate its offset quality production of photobooks, brochures, business cards and postcards. The HP Designjet Z series printers will output a range of high quality photo realistic posters and images.

The truck will also feature a range of finishing equipment including a UV coater, book binding machines and guillotines.
