On show will be its extensive range of UV curing lamps for label, screen, offset and digital printers, including special doped lamps where the spectral output is altered for specific applications. Also on show will be a sample of its range of Metal Halide lamps for pre-press and photo printing applications.
Heraeus manufactures replacement lamps for all types of UV Dryers, as well as Metal Halide lamps for Exposure Units, and experts will be on hand to discuss all aspects of UV curing together with the various lamp types and applications. For customers who manufacture UV curing equipment, Amba have the technical resources to custom-design lamps and control gear to specific requirements.
Heraeus are exhibiting Amba UV lamps alongside its range of Infra-Red heating elements and dryers. Heraeus manufactures the total range of heating elements for drying and heating processes from near infrared to long wave to the new Carbon IR emitters for low energy drying processes. Wavelengths are matched to the absorption characteristics of the inks or coatings, the power, heated length and shape are tailored to suit the application and the coating or substrate is heated where it is required, when it is required. Heraeus offers energy efficient solutions that will enable customers to speed up their processes and improve the quality of their product.
Tess Fitzpatrick from Heraeus Amba Australia will make the trip to drupa to meet with and discuss the specific drying and curing needs of Australian printers.
