Fishprint becomes a GECA certified printer

waterless  printing - sheetfed  environment
Environmental printer Fishprint has become a Good Environmental Choice printer, thanks to its stringent green policies.

According to GECA green procurement is becoming easier with every new industry it certifies.

GECA says Fishprint is a waterless printer with an exceptional environmentally sensitive production system. All print jobs from this printer are compliant to the GECA 20-2004 Printers and Printed Matter. The requirements of this standard are available at http://www.geca.org.au/standardsregister.htm .

All printed matter produced by Fishprint is now authorised to display the Good Environmental Choice Label in order to give confidence to the user of this material that it is world class in its environmental credentials.

GECA is recommending Fishprint to the commercial, government and not-for-profit sectors as a clearly environmentally preferable option, and says it hopes that organizations on its list, ie those that have indicated they want to deal with green suppliers, will be able to try them out as a vehicle for their environmental strategy.
