Ferrari returns after setting up foundation

HP sales and marketing manager Nelson Ferrari will return to the company to launch the new range of Designjet products in the first half of this year. Last year Ferrari announced he would take 12 months leave to establish an orphanage in his home country of Bolivia.

He is in the final stages of establishing a Bolivian Orphan Foundation, but as he is not yet required on the project on a full-time basis, he has decided to continue to work with HP Designjet.

Ferrari has been spending time between Sydney and Bolivia’s second largest city, Cochabamba, where he has already gained the support of architects, designers and business consultants to work with him on the project.

“More than 60 per cent of the country lives in poverty. I want to be able to use the knowledge I’ve gained working in the corporate world, and in setting up the Design Graphics Warehouse, to build an orphanage that will really benefit those who need it the most; the children of my country,” says Ferrari.

The Bolivian Orphan Foundation will launch its website early this year.
