Epson  printing - large format

Epson has won a prestigious International Forum Design (iF) award for its Stylus Pro GS6000 large format printer, which was entered among a total of 2,808 products submitted from 39 different countries for the 2009 awards judged in Germany.

The International Forum Design evaluates products against a number of criteria including design quality, workmanship, innovativeness, environmental compatibility, ergonomics, choice of material, universal design appeal and functionality. As an independent institution it has been rewarding design in industry, as well as providing a window on the latest design developments and trends, for more than 50 years.

Michael Pleasants, director of marketing communication for Epson Australia, says while Epson products have always been renowned for their technical excellence, reliability and high quality performance, it is pleasing to again be recognised internationally for design excellence.

Pleasants says, “We are delighted that the iF jury has recognised Epson's commitment to bringing stylish, highly innovative and easy to use products to the market.”

Epson says its Stylus Pro GS6000 is a high quality 64 inch large format printer that features an eight colour solvent type ink set developed by Epson. The printer enables operators to switch easily between a range of different coated and non-coated substrates such as vinyl, making it an ideal, flexible production solution for outdoor and indoor commercial applications.
