Epson introduces new Fogra certified proofing paper

New proofing paper: Craig Heckenberg, business unit manager, business solutions division, Epson Australia

Epson Australia says it is making it easier for its graphics arts customers to achieve ISO 12647-7 certification with the introduction of a new proofing paper that is designed in accordance with this standard.

Epson Standard Proofing Paper 240 has been certified by the Fogra Graphic Technology Research Association (Fogra) for Offset PT1/PT2/PT3, Flexo, and Gravure S1/S2/S3/S4 and is supported by leading RIP vendors.

Craig Heckenberg, business unit manager, business solutions division, Epson Australia says, “Within Australia and New Zealand, industry awareness for ISO 12647-7 has rapidly increased, in response to our graphic arts customer requests, Epson is pleased to announce a genuine Epson proofing media that meets the ISO proofing standard.”

He continues, “This announcement further demonstrates Epson’s commitment to the graphics arts market, providing our customers with one brand for both paper and ink to meet this standard.”

Epson Standard Proofing Paper 240 is available in 30.5 metres rolls in widths of 17 inches, 24 inches and 44 inches, the paper has a semi-matte finish and a weight of 240gsm. The paper is being distributed through Kayell Australia.
