The commercial printing division of leading inkjet printer manufacturer Domino, will exhibit a new solution for variable data printing at Labelexpo Europe in Brussels this September. The new Domino-ON-Demand is a complete variable data printing solution comprising estimating, prepress, proofing and printing modules. Domino-ON-Demand allows the end user to add variable data capability to a job and, at the same time, save time and set up costs by allowing the prepress operator to design, layout and proof the job long before it reaches final print production.
Its internal database software can be networked to up to 16 print heads, enabling Domino-ON-Demand to be scaled to suit all sizes of high quality variable data projects. Utilising Domino’s latest technology offering, the ink heads enable a variety of inks to print onto a wide range of substrates. Domino says this capability, combined with the option of Pantone-matched inks, enables the Domino-ON-Demand printing solution to handle most exacting variable print jobs. UV curing options are available to speed up the drying process so that productivity is not compromised in the pursuit of quality and creativity.
