Cromático has been chosen for signature projects by some of the world’s most discerning graphic designers for signature projects. Being diaphanous, it is a perfect medium for subtle see-through effects and superimposed colour in a great variety of applications including direct mail pieces, invitations, brochures, annual reports and prospectuses. (Stylised Cromático envelopes are also available.)
Ten colours are available in New Zealand including the famous Extra White and three luminous new colours: Shocking Pink, Spring Green, and Lavender.
Cromático is naturally-made from coloured pulp and because it is chemical-free does not crack. The result is a smooth workable surface. It is Elemental Chlorine Free, acid free and 100 per cent recyclable.
It gives excellent results with a variety of printing techniques such as embossing, folding, scoring, engraving, foil stamping and perforating. It will run well on off-set, laser and inkjet machines and can be screen-printed.
Cromático is non-porous so extra drying time should be allowed and high tack, fully oxidising inks are recommended. Because of the paper’s high density, it should be trimmed with a dull knife. Technical information sheets are included with each pack but, if in doubt, pre-trialing is recommended.
