Creative Folks brings Elvis to Australia

Creative Folks has signed a new reseller agreement with dutchsoftware.com to distribute Elvis, an enterprise grade media asset management solution to the to the Australian and New Zealand market place.

Elvis is designed as the central media content store for publishers, broadcasters, agencies and corporate that have want to store media in one place, find it easily, and use it in themost flexible way through all publishing channels.

According to Creative Folks Elvis is a true content repository that catalogues images, xml, video, articles and layouts, all in one system. It provides new storage, search and retrieval technology for the publisher and is built on industry standards like Flex and AIR. Through new search technology, an intuitive interface and flexible storage Elvis offers usability and scalability.

Matthew Green, managing director at Creative Folks says, “We have been providing digital asset management solutions since 1992 so when we saw Elvis at Ifra last year we immediately recognised its potential. The desktop client is based on Adobe AIR technology which means that it offers cross-platform usability, and the Flex panel incorporated into CS4 allows users to drag and drop their assets directly into InDesign or Photoshop. The Elvis server offers a powerful search, storage and processing engine for indexing and extracting metadata.”
