Patrick Turner, who has moved from HP to head up CPI’s new wide format division says, “HP manufactures a range of stable reliable highly productive platforms with varying resolutions and speeds. The Scitex XP2750 is a key part of the HP proposition.”

Highlighting the flexibility of HP’s approach the XP2750 is a reel to reel printer that comes with a flatbed option. The HP Scitex XP2750 UV printer delivers high image quality - up to 800x635dpi - and production speeds up to 110sqm an hour.

CPI’s national sales manager Gerard Wintle says, “Inkjet printing clearly has a big future in commercial graphic arts. CPI has been looking at the market for a while. I am delighted to have an agreement with HP, the world’s biggest and most progressive wide format printer developer, and look forward to working with Australian printers as they develop their wide format business with HP kit.”

CPI had a special live video stream for printers to get close to its Komori press range, and the same for some of its industrial finishing kit, including Baumann.

The company was also highlighting its digital print finishing equipment, with solutions form Challenger and Plockmatic among others.
