8 colours and new DI possibilities from Ryobi

Ryobi  curing  UV  product launch  converting 
The new 758P, up to now only available as a 4 to 6-colour press from Ryobi is shown at Igas in the configuration as an B2 8-colour convertible perfecting device with UV-curing units on the convertible perfection device as well as at the delivery section. It can therefore be used as an 8-colour straight press or 4 colours front and 4 colours back in one pass. According to Ryobi this saves the printer a lot of time and the printed sheets can be moved immediately to a postpress production process. The company which has recently won the "Red Dot Award" for Product Design for its 750 series, additionally shows the B2 size press 750 in a configuration which enables the press to print on up to 0.8 mm thick cardboard. The option for this machine show the paer transport section configured with the double diameter impression cylinder and the double diameter transferdrum. Ryobi claims, that the incorporation of cylinders with a larger curvature has established stable paper transport, even when printing on thick papers.
