Goss International has announced the installation of a Goss Magnum 4 press, web offset printing system, at Vibal Publishing House in the Philippines.

Saku Satkunaratnam, regional sales manager Goss International Asia Pacific, says, “Vibal, which has been using Goss branded presses for nearly three decades, is part of a growing list of loyal Goss Magnum press users worldwide.”

Part of the educational publishing giant’s equipment modernisation programme, the new Magnum 4 press is rated at 35,000 cph and configured with two two-over-two towers, one folder, two splicers and a compensating stacker. Under the program, Vibal will acquire additional printing units, increasing its 4/4 colour capacity and open up new business opportunities. It recently installed a new perfect binding system.

Satkunaratnam adds, “We are very happy to work with companies such as Vibal Publishing House and helping to provide the best production solutions to suit its expanding business needs. The Magnum press series can accommodate various business models and phased growth plans for printers and publishers engaged in newspaper, book, and semi-commercial printing operations.”
