Rotometrics continues to scale up its Asia narrow web rotary precision die manufacturing operation with the appointment of Shaun Pullen to the newly created role of general manager, Rotometrics Asia.
Pullen will report to the company’s president and chief executive officer and will have responsibility for the firm’s Thailand manufacturing operations as well as sales and business development throughout Asia.
Rotometrics says that Pullen has spent the majority of his career in the printing industry, serving 16 years as regional sales manager with JM Heaford, a producer of flexo mounting systems and specialist flexo and gravure ink equipment and also working for the UK agent of Mark Andy as a commissioning engineer installing narrow web printing and converting systems.
Pullen has lived in Thailand, and networked, in Asia for over 11 years, gaining first-hand experience in local languages, customs and business etiquette. He has a technical background in mechanical engineering, originally specialising in turbine power generation then moving into heat treatment and metallurgy.
