RBP Chemical Technology has named Rajesh Parekh as commercial manager at RBP Technology (India) Pvt Ltd, the company's chemical blending facility near Mumbai.

In addition to managing daily operations, Parekh is responsible for global logistics and supply chain management for the plant, which manufactures chemicals for the printing and electronics industries.

Parekh holds a Bachelor in Commerce degree from Mumbai University. He brings more than 10 years of experience to the position, developing, implementing and managing business processes in manufacturing organisations.

He has varied experience in multiple disciplines, including logistics, international trade, sourcing and contract negotiation.

Announcing the appointment, RBP Chemical Technology president, Mark Kannenberg, comments, "Rajesh Parekh's background and expertise in international business, as well as in India, will be an asset as RBP continues to serve customers on the Indian subcontinent and throughout Asia."

Founded in 1954, RBP Chemical Technology is a global supplier of proprietary chemicals and delivery devices for the printing, publishing, and printed circuit board manufacturing industries.

RBP Chemical Technology products are manufactured in a 45,000sq ft plant in Milwaukee, Wisconsin; by approved blenders in the United States, South Korea and Thailand; and by a licensee in Finland.
