International ink manufacturer Siegwerk has appointed Ralf Hildenbrand as the new head of the company's Asia operations and has also announced that the former Siegwerk Region Asia/Pacific will now be named Siegwerk Asia.
Board member Ralf Hildenbrand, formerly responsible for Flexible Packaging EMEA, will take on the new role as region head, effective this month.Meanwhile the company says that the name change is due to the fact that last year Siegwerk sold its businesses in Australia and New Zealand to print supply company Flint Group, which included the intangible assets, sales, and marketing and distribution channels of Siegwerk in both countries.
In addition to different business division and administrative functions, Siegwerk says that the five managing directors of the Asia region will report directly to Hildenbrand, including:
Marco Si for China, Vijay Gupta for India, Soeseno Bong for Indonesia, Mike van Breugel for Malaysia/Singapore and Itti Ananpiriyakul for Thailand/Vietnam/Philippines.
