Martin Automatic will be exhibiting one of its leading MBS splicers at the forthcoming India Label Show in New Delhi.

Craig Thomson, marketing manager at Martin Automatic says the company recognises the labelling industry in India is one of the fastest growing markets worldwide.

He says, “We at Martin recognise the impact that India is making on the industry and we expect that this will be a great show. We will be there to support both our OEM partners and our end-users.”

The company says visitors to the Martin booth will be able see an MBS butt splicer and discuss how non-stop roll changing and web handling technology from Martin can improve their productivity and limit their waste.

After the show, the splicer will be installed on a KPG press at an Indian label converter, where it will join two other Martin splicers installed at this location.

Thomson continues, “In today’s economy, converters must look even more closely at waste reduction. This is really what automatic roll changing is all about. Martin was green long before the term was invented and before the recent emphasis on sustainability and waste."

He also says, “With automatic splicing, label printers can cut their waste, save the landfill, and profit from the savings.”
