Three Rapida 105s for Chinese book printer

Chinese commercial and book printer Beijing Jiaxindaxin Art Printing has placed an order with KBA for three Rapida 105 B1 presses. The contract for one five-colour and two four-colour versions was signed by Chen Yaqin, company chairman  and Albrecht Bolza-Schünemann, president of KBA in Beijing.

Indonesian newspaper invests in Goss colour press

The Bali Post, an Indonesian language newspaper has invested in a new Goss Community SSC press in order to provide additional colour capacity, transforming the 20-page title from a 60 per cent black and white publication to a full colour title.

Nilpeter joint venture at India Label Show

At next month’s India Label Show in New Delhi, Nilpeter A/S and Proteck Machinery will introduce the newly formed joint venture company, Nilpeter India. The companies say through the joint venture they expect to introduce a locally produced press to the Indian market early 2009.

Filipino based multinational San Miguel Corporation has recently announced a consolidated net income of P20.9bn, nearly 200 per cent higher than the same period last year. The company’s packaging business, Yamamura Packaging also reported a substantial jump in profits from last year.
