Digital offset manufacturer Presstek announced this
week that it will be introducing a UV printing option for its 52DI and 34DI
digital offset presses. The company says by adding the UV option, the presses
can switch between standard waterless inks and UV waterless inks for an
increased competitive advantage.

Preliminary figures for the 2007-08 financial year showed
sales by the Heidelberg Group totalled Euro3.67bn, 3.5 per cent down on last year's
figure. The company says the drop was caused by the US financial crisis and customers'
