Müller Martini shows PrimaPlus
Müller Martini Australia is using PacPrint to highlight the integration of its finishing and mailing solutions. On the stand it has a PrimaPlus saddlestitcher, which is feeding product to an Alphaliner inserting machine. Managing director Livio Barbagallo says, “Müller Martini has great solutions, which includes the ability to use the solutions in harmony with each other through digital integration, which is what PacPrint visitors will see.” The PrimaPlus saddle stitcher is a highly versatile machine utilised for the compilation of collated, saddle stitched and trimmed products such as magazines and brochures. The unit features touch screen control, automatic chain timing, and pneumatic knife clamping as well as complete compatibility with CIP4.
The Alphaliner is a machine used for the inserting of newspapers and magazines whereby a main jacket is fed in and opened allowing a collated package of various printed material to be inserted. Up to 40 insert feeders are available. The machine is aimed at small regional and local area newspapers as well as the insertion of commercial inserts such as retail catalogues and promotional material.
